Police officials with the Fresno, California, police department are seeking the public’s help to find a driver of a green or brown late-1990s Chevrolet Suburban who left the scene after striking a bicyclist on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at approximately 8 PM in the evening.
The accident occurred along Tulare Avenue approximately where it crosses West Maple Avenue according to Lieutenant Michael Landon. The bicyclist, who has not been identified, was transported to the local hospital with undisclosed injuries and complaining of pain.
According to witnesses at the scene, the Suburban continued westbound on Tulare Avenue. Police are not sure if weather played a role in this accident.
